By downloading, installing, or using UV Index, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Not medical advice

UV Index is an information tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose skin conditions, or replace guidance from a qualified health professional. Sunscreen SPF recommendations, safe exposure times, and tan timers are approximations based on standard skin-type guidelines and current UV readings. Individual skin varies. Consult a dermatologist for skin-cancer risk assessment or personalized advice.

Weather data accuracy

UV data is provided by third-party weather services (Apple WeatherKit on iOS, Open-Meteo on Android). While these are reliable sources, readings can be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable in some locations. Do not rely solely on the app for sun safety decisions.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for your own sun exposure and skin health. MrNick Apps is not liable for any sunburn, skin damage, or other harm resulting from your use of the app or reliance on its recommendations.

Purchases

On iOS, UV Index is a paid app. Purchases are handled by Apple under their own terms. Refunds are governed by Apple's policy. The Android version will be free.

Intellectual property

The UV Index app, its name, its design, and all associated materials are owned by MrNick Apps. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app except as permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app, or specific features, at any time.

Disclaimer

UV Index is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MrNick Apps disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
